LESSONS FROM CACTI
We’ve talked about the over-nurturing thing before, Cacticrazies, but it is worth reiteration.
Repeat after me: Cacti thrive on neglect.
Very good.
Cacti do not thrive on being watered every week. Cacti do not thrive on being poked and moved around whenever we plant owners feel like it. No, no.
Cacti thrive on neglect.
Let us think about how this correlates with our own lives. (Notice here I am not saying that I think people thrive on neglect, but perhaps that people sometimes do not appreciate over-nurturing either.)
Do not poke your friends. Do not force your friends to behave in ways you think they should. Let your friends be your friends.
Let your cactus be your cactus.
Love,
Cactomaniac
